- Full Description
Since the publication of this book, Adobe has released a new version of Photoshop Elements (version 2). We have chosen not to upgrade our book, as it is possible to follow all of the tutorials using either the first or second version of Photoshop Elements. Here, at friends of ED, we firmly believe in the saying If it ain't broke, dont fix it.
There are, though, some differences between the two versions of the program, so we have created a handy guide to show you how best to enjoy Digital Photography with Adobe Photoshop Elements using Photoshop Elements 2. This is viewable either online, or available as a pdf download.
Digital cameras have become an essential item, with the advent of ever cheaper and ever more sophisticated models. The benefits over their celluloid-and-chemical cousins are enormous. Never again need you worry about running out of film! There will be no more anxious waits for the local developing shop to open!
What's more: There's an ocean of possibility when it comes to digital image manipulation and Adobe's Photoshop Elements has become an essential tool for photographers.
This full-color book provides an approachable introduction to Photoshop Elements, offering tips and insights into the vital aspects of photo manipulation. Illustrated throughout, Digital Photography with Adobe Photoshop Elements offers the clearest possible route to achieving great images with Photoshop Elements.
Practical examples are shown throughout, enabling you to achieve impressive results from the outset. Whether it's just a quick retouch or a 180-degree panorama you're looking to build, Digital Photography with Photoshop Elements equips you with the required knowledge and invaluable advice from two of the most respected Photoshop designers in the business.
The CD accompanying the book contains a full 30-day trial version of the Photoshop Elements software, plus the original artwork source files from the authors. With this complete package, you can work through the examples or branch out with your own Photoshop ideas!
