Apress today announced they have acquired the rights to publish Kapsoft’s "iPhone Application Sketch Book." The announcement came this evening during the Apress 'Meet the Authors' event taking place at the 360|iDev Conference.

The "iPhone Application Sketch Book" is a bound notebook with 100 pages of to-scale iPhone design templates that provide iPhone app developers an organized place for sketches, preliminary wireframes, user interface designs, and notes.

“I was excited to be approached by Apress, a first-class publisher,” says Dean Kaplan, creator and founder of Kapsoft. “The iPhone Application Sketch Book will make a great companion to Apress’s extensive line of iPhone development books.”

“When Apress first came across Kapsoft’s "iPhone Application Sketch Book," we knew it was a useful tool for new and expert iPhone app developers to map out their ideas,” says Jeff Stonefield, Director of Marketing for Apress. “We are excited to add this sketch book to our excellent catalogue of iPhone development books.”

Apress will have the "iPhone Application Sketch Book" available for sale through all retail channels in November 2009. To honor this event, every attendee at 360|iDev received a free "iPhone Application Sketch Book" courtesy of Apress. 360|iDev is a four-day conference whose goal is to bring together the best and brightest of the world’s iPhone development community.
