Systemtechnik ("systems engineering") verallgemeinert Konzepte bzw. Methoden der Ingenieurwissenschaften und stellt damit Instrumente für die Lösung interdisziplinärer, komplexer Probleme bereit. Systematische Vorgehensweisen erlauben die sinnvolle Gliederung technisch-organisatorischer Projekte.
