Reviews

“The work introduces modern programming, primarily using Java, but also includes illustrations using the programming languages Scala, Groovy, and JavaScript. … the book suggests six very strong online references in Appendix E. If one seeks a brief, easy-to-read introduction to modern programming, this book is worth examining. Summing Up: Recommended. … Lower-division undergraduates and general readers.” (J.
