About this book
The planned work will be a comprehensive and comprehensible survey on urban soils. It will respect a wide range of scientific and user oriented aspects - from questions of the genesis of urban soils to questions of the design of open space in urban areas.
Until now, most research work on urban soils was executed in Germany, therefore the texts will focuse somewhat on German. Nevertheless, the situation from all over the world will be respected.
The book will have a chapter explaining - similar to an excursion - urban soils by view. Therefore pictures of soil profiles and soil data are provided.
