About the editors

Prof. Asit Kumar Das is working as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, Howrah, West Bengal, India. He has received B. Sc. Honors in Mathematics, B. Tech. and M.Tech.in Computer Science & Technology from Calcutta University, West Bengal and Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering (Ph.D.) from Bengal Engineering and Science University (BESU), Shibpur, West Bengal. He has published more than 100 research papers in various international journals and conferences, 1 book on rough set theory in data mining, 4 book chapters. He has worked as a member of the editorial/reviewer board of various international journals and conferences. He has shared his research field of interest in many workshops and conferences through his invited speech in various institutes in India. He likes to teach the theoretical subjects like discrete structures, data structures, design and analysis of algorithm, data mining, etc. to B. Tech. and M. Tech. students of Computer Science and Engineering. He acts as the general chair, program chair, and advisory member of committees of many international conferences. His research interest includes data mining and pattern recognition in various fields including bioinformatics, social networks, text mining, Audioaudio and video data analysis, and medical data analysis. He has already guided five Ph.D. scholars and is currently guiding six Ph.D. scholars.

Dr. Janmenjoy Nayak is working as an Associate Professor, Aditya Institute of Technology and Management (AITAM), (An Autonomous Institution) Tekkali, K. Kotturu, Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh-532201, India. He has been awarded INSPIRE Research Fellowship from Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, (both as JRF and SRF level) for doing his doctoral research in the Department of Computer Sc. Engineering & Information Technology, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Odisha, India. He has published more than 80 research papers in various reputed peer-reviewed referred journals, international conferences and book chapters. He has also authored one Text book on “Formal Languages and Automata Theory” in Vikash Publishing House Pvt. Ltd., which has been widely acclaimed throughout the country and abroad by the students of all levels. He is the recipient of Young Faculty in Engineering-2017 Award by Venus International Foundation, Chennai, Best Young Researcher in Computer Science Engineering, by Institute of Technical and Scientific Research Foundation Award-2017, Jaipur, Rajasthan, and Best Researcher Award from JNTU Kakinada for the AY 2018-19. Moreover, he is the recipient of Outstanding Reviewer for the journal “Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence” for 2017, by Elsevier Publications. He has been serving as an active member of reviewer committee of various reputed peer-reviewed journals such as IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics ofComputational Intelligence, IET Intelligent Transport Systems, Elsevier, Springer and Inderscience journals. His area of interest includes data mining, nature-inspired algorithms and soft computing.

Dr. Bighnaraj Naik is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Applications, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Odisha, India. He received his doctoral degree from the Department of Computer Sc. Engineering & Information Technology, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Odisha, India, Master degree from SOA University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, and Bachelor degree from National Institute of Science and Technology, Berhampur, Odisha, India. He has published more than 80 research papers in various reputed peer-reviewed international conferences, referred journals and book chapters. He has more than five years of teaching experience in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. His area of interest includes data mining, soft computing, etc.

Dr. Soumi Dutta is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Engineering & Management, India. She has completed her Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur. Her research interests data mining, information retrieval, natural language processing, online social media analysis, micro-blog summarization, spam filtering, sentiment analysis, and clustering of micro-blogging data. She was the editor in International Conference on Emerging Technologies in Data Mining and Information Security (IEMIS2018) Springer Conference for 3 volumes, special issue volume in IJWLTT. She is TPC member in various international conferences such as—International Conference on Smart Innovation, Ergonomics and Applied Human Factors (SEAHF 2019), Data Science & Machine learning & Application (DSMLA 2019), ARIAM-2019. She is peer reviewer in different international journals such as—Journal of King Saud University—Computer and Information Sciences, Springer, Elsevier, etc. She is the member of several technical functional bodies such as MACUL, SDIWC, ISOC, ICSES. She has published several papers in reputed journals and conferences.

Dr. Danilo Pelusi has received the Ph.D. degree in Computational Astrophysics from the University of Teramo, Italy. Presently, he is holding the position of Associate Professor at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, University of Teramo. Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence, IEEE Access, International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics (Springer) and Array (Elsevier), he served as guest editor for Elsevier, Springer and Inderscience journals, as program member of many conferences and as editorial board member of many journals. Reviewer of reputed journals such as IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems and IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Machine Learning, his research interests include intelligent computing, communication system, fuzzy logic, neural networks, information theory and evolutionary algorithms.
