About the editors

Dr. Saroj Kumar Acharya is currently a professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, ITER, SOA Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar. He obtained his B.E. (Mech.) from Orissa Engineering College, Bhubaneswar, M.E in Heat Power Engineering form University College of Engineering, Burla and Ph.D. from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela. His major areas of research interests include biomass and bio-energy, hydrogen from waste biomass, solar energy, IC engines and use of waste energy in mechanical engineering applications. He has published 35 papers in reputed international journals. Dr. Acharya has guided 5 Ph.D thesis and 18 M.Tech thesis. He has published 03 International books, filed 8 no's of patent and reviewed many articles of reputed international journals till date. 

Dr. Dipti Prasad Mishra is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. He obtained his B.E. and M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from University College of Engineering, Burla and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. His major research interest is the application of CFD to design heat exchange devices. He has published more than 24 papers in peer-reviewed journals and also published books and book chapters with reputed publishers. He has guided three Ph.D thesis and more than 15 PG students. Apart from many international publications Dr. Mishra has a tremendous liking to teach the subjects like thermodynamics, heat transfer and fluid mechanics.
