On page Several:References to the default port for manager state 7840, but documentation/actual default port value is 7809.
On page 17:
"Also allocate ports for Goldengate manager, Extract, and Replicat processes. By default, manager uses port 7840."
The default port for the manager is 7809, not 7840, and the name of another product is WebLogic, not Weblogic.

PORT defines the port number on which Manager runs on the local system. The default port
is 7809. You must specify either the default port or another port.
It's not an issue of the default port changing from one release to another.
On page 223:Statement in the book on page 223:
Whenever you use the MIN option, you must also set the MAX option for PURGEOLDEXTRACTS to denote the maximum amount of time to keep the trail file.
What is the reference/source for this? The MAXKEEP options are specified/valid for PURGEDDLHISTORY and PURGEMARKERHISTORY. The Reference Guide does not include a MAX option for PURGEOLDEXTRACTS.
On page 272:The Reference guide states that TABLEEXCLUDE comes before TABLE, but on page 272, the example has it backwards.
From the Reference guide:
"Use the TABLEEXCLUDE parameter with the TABLE and SEQUENCE parameters to explicitly
exclude tables and sequences from a wildcard specification. TABLEEXCLUDE must precede all
TABLE and SEQUENCE statements that contain the objects that you want to exclude."
