We, Apress Inc. ("Apress"), are willing to grant you, the purchaser, access to our Apress eBookshop and included eBooks on condition that you accept all of the terms of this agreement (the "Agreement").

As a buyer, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the books, and to reproduce and store portions of their contents for your personal, noncommercial use, all according to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Full scale copying of book contents is expressly prohibited. No part of any chapter or book may be reproduced or transmitted in any form by any means without the prior written permission for reprints and excerpts from the publisher of the book or chapter. Redistribution or other use that violates the fair use privilege under U.S. copyright laws (see 17 USC107) or that otherwise violates these Terms of Service is strictly prohibited. Violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of U.S. Federal laws.

• YOU MAY
  • download and store a book onto your hard drive or other storage device for your use only;
  • reproduce portions of books to use as quotes in other publications (so long as the publisher is given proper attribution in any publication or other media in which the quote appears).
• YOU AGREE
  • that the content of the books are protected by copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary rights and that these rights are valid and protected in all forms, media, technologies, existing now or hereinafter developed;
  • not to modify, remove, delete, augment, add to, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, create derivative works from, or in any way exploit any of the content of the books, in whole or in part, except as provided in this Agreement or as permitted by the fair use privilege under the U.S. copyright laws (see 17 USC Section 107);
