refers to a DVD. No such DVD arrived with the book.Author Comment:

We apologize for this, but the language referring to a DVD was included erroneously.
Previous editions of Beginning Ubuntu Linux did come with a DVD that had Ubuntu install media on it, but we dropped it in the current ("Natty Narwhal") edition. In the past, we included the DVD because download speeds could make getting the install files troublesome, but that isn't as much of a problem anymore. Also, Ubuntu updates their version more often than we publish, so the DVD would get stale after a few months. For those reasons, we no longer include a DVD with this title. The inclusion of text referring to a DVD in the Natty Narwhal edition was an error on our part; we apologize for causing confusion.
